Woodworking

Our woodworking workshop has a wide variety of tools and machinery able to support members in the construction of general wood based projects, including construction and repairs.

Members bring in their own projects or contribute to the shed’s activities through construction projects. Members are required to provide their own materials and to make suitable donations for any of the shed’s materials or resources used on personal projects. If you are in a position to donate wood to our Woodworking team contact woodworking@gidgegannupmensshed.org.au

So come along and meet other likeminded woodworking workers and create or just contribute to the overall operation of the woodworking group.

Woodworking Team Activity Saturday 2 April 2020

Our first milling activity happened today – a group of members learnt how to mill using a Lucas Mill. Thanks to David Strickland for leading the demonstration using his Lucas Mill on old fallen logs at Charles Coppack’s farm on Berry Rd, thanks Charles. If you would like to join us at the next activity just fill in a Membership Application form:  https://gidgegannupmensshed.org.au/membership/ . We look forward to welcoming new members.
